Can I use the Ugg Water and Stain Repellent spray on my leather boots?

I bought the Ugg water and stain repellent spray and used it on my Uggs, but I have some leather boots that I want to waterproof as well. Can I use the Ugg spray or do I need to go somewhere like Aldo to buy something specific for leather boots? Thanks
