Why is this happening? Help me understand this please?

Break ups are always hard. I've been on the other side of your problem except i don't have a kid, ect. i did get into a relationship with another guy and i am SOO happy with him now, honestly better than the previous guy and i loved him as i love my new boyfriend now. But my ex and i dated a year and i broke things up because he was immature. My point is, i'm extremely happy now, but i will not lie, i still think about my ex (just about everyday. not because i still love him, or anything. Infact we don't even talk, you could even say we are strangers. But i do.) ,soo what i am trying to say is that it's normal for you. eventually you wont think about her everyday and the time will increase little by little, or even really fast. i hope i helped and i hope everything goes well for you!
