I am 22y guy and have following doubts?

I am 22y guy and I am suffering from open bit problem,but the actually problem is I was met bu an accident 3y back so and hurt on my front upper two teeth for which I should undergo caps\ crown treatment, I just wanna no if its ok if I get caps\crown mount on m theedand can I get my open bit problem solved later. Bec doctor will give me some kind of steel rremovableclip.
