At the end of the movie Intensity, based on a Dean Koontz novel, why does Ariel scream "Badger" repeatedly?

It's confusing.... I think I missed something or they left something out, lmao. Chyna is just about to leave the pyschiatric ward when Ariel starts out saying "Badger", then screaming it. Please help, and tell me why?! :D
