When is I love you to early?

All right I've known my boyfriend for a little over a month now. He is 10 years older then me and has been through a lot in his life. Yet he seems pretty happy. When I first met him I had a crush on him until I realized he didn't work because of his mental problems(schizo, bi-polar, ocd, etc.) The whole not working thing was a huge turn-off but I slowly got to know him and we are now going out. I know I could never have the big house or fancy cars I've dreamt about with him but he really knows how to treat me. He does anything he possibly can do to make me happy. He cooks for sister, has babysat for my friends kids. He has helped my friend out more then once when she has needed something. He will literally bend over backwards to help me or my friends/family. He loves spending time with me. I know I'm not infatuated with him since the whole thought of a relationship scared me and still does. I can tell I've been thinking with a clear head and I truly believe I'm falling in love with him. But after only a month.... I'm scared that's to early. keep in mind that he has accidentally said I love you himself after kissing my forehead. So what do you think... is a month to early???
