Does nobody find it at least suspicious that America keeps going after countries crucial to the oil trade?

USA has spent equal amount of iraq's 30 year of income in order to make that place free and all of iraq's income goes into iraqi government pocket, that government is also all free to choose its oil drilling partners. and there are no oils in afghanistan or many other hostile countries,
